Year, Make & Model
The basic vehicle information gives us the starting point for the application.
European engine parts can change by engine code, production date, chassis, component size and machining history. Send us the details you have and we’ll help you review the application before purchase.
You do not need every item below to ask for help. Send what you have, and include the manufacturer part number whenever possible.
The basic vehicle information gives us the starting point for the application.
Often the most important detail. The same model can use more than one engine or engine revision.
Send the manufacturer number you are considering or the number from the original component.
For bearings and other internal components, tell us whether you need STD, undersize, oversize or another specific dimension.
A VIN can help narrow production information, although it does not replace component measurements or engine-specific verification.
Numbers, stamps or clear photos of the part being replaced can help when the catalog application is not enough by itself.
European manufacturers often make running production changes, use multiple engine families under one chassis, or offer internal components in several sizes. That is why a broad “fits BMW 3 Series” style claim is not enough for many engine parts.
We start with the manufacturer, part number, component type and available size information.
Where available, the manufacturer catalog or application guide is treated as the primary fitment reference.
Reliable secondary references can help confirm engine codes, chassis applications and production ranges.
If the sources do not line up cleanly, we do not silently turn uncertain fitment into a guarantee.
When you see this note, the part is associated with the application but the available information is not strong enough for us to present it as guaranteed fitment. Additional verification may be required using engine code, part number, measurements, VIN information or the original component.
Fitment assistance helps narrow the correct application, but final verification still needs to happen before assembly.
Compare the manufacturer part number and markings.
Confirm STD / undersize / oversize or other required dimensions.
Check clearances, measurements and installation specifications.
Compare the replacement component directly with the original part before installation.
Include your year, make, model, engine code, part number and size information if available. We would rather review it first than have you order the wrong internal engine component.
